01Who are we?

02What information do we process?

In the current version of Heartline, online play works by connecting players to each other via their IP addresses. So when you join an online game, your IP address and the IP address of the player you connect to are technically used to establish the connection.

• IP addresses are used only to establish the connection and run the game.
• Salt Shaker Labs does not collect or store these IP addresses on a server and does not use them to build profiles.
• Keep in mind that the person you connect with can also see your IP address.

03What information don't we process?

• First name, last name, email address, phone number, address, or date of birth
• Location data, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access
• Advertising IDs and ad-tracking data
• Payment or financial information

The game contains no ads, no third-party analytics services, and no in-app purchases.

04Children's privacy

Heartline is open to players of all ages. We do not collect personal information such as names, emails, or locations from children, and we don't show ads targeted at children.

Because online play requires connecting with others via IP address, we recommend that parents keep track of who their children play with and advise them not to share their IP address with strangers.

05Who is your data shared with?

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared, to the extent necessary, only where there is a legal obligation or a lawful request from the competent authorities.

06Our website

• Our website does not use cookies. Your site preferences (sound, motion, and color palette settings, the site language, the salt counter on the home page, and your personal arcade high scores) are stored only locally in your own browser and are never sent to us.
• If you choose to save a score to the arcade leaderboard, the nickname you enter and your score are stored on our server and shown publicly on the leaderboard. You don't have to use your real name. To prevent abuse, an irreversible summary (hash) of your IP address is kept for at most 24 hours; your IP address itself is not stored. You can write to us to have your entry removed.
• The fonts on our pages are loaded from Google Fonts. In the process, Google can technically see your browser's IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.
• Game-related links (e.g., Google Play) are subject to their own privacy policies.

07Retention and security

Since the game does not collect personal data on our side, there is no stored database. Even so, we keep our technical and administrative measures up to date as the game's structure changes.

08Your rights

Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the GDPR, and other applicable laws, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, and to request correction or deletion, as well as the right to object. To exercise these rights, send us an email; we will respond within 30 days at the latest.

09Changes

As the game evolves (for example, when features such as an account system, server-based matchmaking, or chat are added), we may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page, and the "last updated" date above will change.
